Climate: Moderate. December to March are the summer months. In winter the average temperature is 12º C and in summer 25º C. Climate in the city of Lima: The city is located 12º S of the Equator line, and the Humboldt current freshens the climate of the city and all the remaining coast, thus making the summer months warm and mild. During the winter Lima is generally covered by clouds and humidity is high, however it does not rain.
